How to act
How to act like a man is all about voice tone and body language. Did you know that 93% of human communication is voice tone + body language and the words are only 7%? It doesn’t matter what you say, if you don’t say it the right way.
So how does the body language of a real man look like? Here are the most important things to remember:
- Avoid fidgeting, rocking or swaying. It will make you look insecure.
- Stand tall, lift your chest, shoulders back.
- Always maintain eye contact when talking to somebody. I do not say to keep eye contact 100% of the time (because that will make you look like a psychopath), but I do recommend that you keep eye contact 95% of the time.
- Make slow gestures. Move your head slowly and move your hands slowly. It conveys self confidence.
- and please take your hands out of your pocket. You are not a little boy anymore.
Voice tone:
- Talk slowly, make pauses.
- Deep voice is essential. If you don’t know how to speak with a deep voice, then visit Mike London’s site to get some helpful advice.
- Don’t be afraid of talking to loud. Let everyone hear what you have to say.
The easiest way to learn body language is watching movies starring real men. (I’m not kidding here). Watch how these people move and interact.

I also recommend reading the classic “Body Language” book by Allan Pease. He has written eleven other bestselling books on the subject of human communication and body language, and is considered to be the leading expert in the area.
